Public CompanySuzlon commissions GMDC's 19.5 Mw wind farm
Suzlon Energy Limited (SEL), India’s largest wind turbine manufacturer, has completed and commissioned a 19.5 MW wind farm project for state-run Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) at the Maliya –Miyana site in Rajkot district of Gujarat.

"The project comprises 13 units of Suzlon’s S82 – 1.5 Mw wind turbines and has been commissioned in record time, almost two months ahead of the contractual commissioning period," the company said in a statement.
The first phase of developing 19.5 Mw project is a part of GMDC’s strategy to put up wind power generation capacity of 100 Mw involving an investment of Rs. 600 crore.
