Ford India to increase prices from January 2010
Ford India will hike the prices of all its models across the board from January 1, 2010. The upward price revision is due to a steady rise in input costs and exchange rate fluctuations. Ford India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company.

Sensex lacklustre; metal index up 2%

Among the sectoral indices, the BSE metal index has added 1.5% to 16,241. Reliance Infrastructure has slipped 2.5% to Rs 1,150. Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, HDFC and Reliance are down 1% each at Rs 1,629, Rs 908, Rs 2,728 and Rs 2,109, respectively. Tata Motors has soared 2.5% to Rs 642. Wipro, Tata Steel, Infosys, ONGC and ITC are up over 1% each. The market breadth is fairly positive, out of 2,739 shares traded. 1,615 shares have advanced and 1,042 have declined so far on the BSE.
