NPS annual fee may come down by Rs 70
The annual maintenance charges for subscribers of the New Pension System (NPS) may come down by Rs 70 from April. National Securities Depository (NSDL), the record-keeper for NPS, expects over one million people to join the scheme in the next six months, leading to a reduction in the account maintenance fees from Rs 350 to Rs 280.

Incredible India bags Grand Prix Award

In yet another feather to its cap, the Incredible India campaign bagged the prestigious Grand Prix Award. Tourism Minister Kumari Selja received the award for the Incredible India promotional film in Vienna yesterday. - Dip in foreign tourist arrivals in September "It is a great privilege for me to receive the Grand Prix Award for our new Incredible India promotional film. The film has been used extensively in our global marketing campaigns and has received worldwide recognition," Selja said. Earlier in the week, Incredible India had got the World Tourism Award for the best destination marketing campaign in London. "After winning a series of international awards at Berlin, Poland, Romania, France, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Croatia, the film has now been honoured with the prestigious Grand Prix Award," she said. The campaign started in 2002 when the Ministry of Tourism took the initiative to brand the country, with the primary objective of establishing a unique and single identity – "Incredible India". "The campaign has generated huge interest about Indian tourism products globally and contributed significantly in the growth of tourism in India," she said. The promotional film has been produced in collaboration with the Experience India Society – a successful public-private sector initiative working for the promotion of tourism in the country. "The film successfully showcases India"s diverse tourism products in order to attract international travelers to our country and this recognition will encourage us to move forward with greater enthusiasm," she said.
