Hyundai to invest $40 mn for setting up R&D centre

"We are investing $40 million for the R&D centre which will be opened in Hyderabad next year and we will recruit 800-1,000 engineers for the centre," Hyundai Motor India Managing Director H S Lheem told during the SIAM Annual Convention here. He said the research and development centre would be used for computer analysis and design of new vehicles. But there is no plan for actual testing, Lheem added.
